We are seeking experienced Assistant Room Leader in our stunning Pre-School Classroom. At BLS, we have a unique approach to the early years curriculum.

About the role:

  • Full time – 40 hours per week
  • Flexible shifts between 8:00-18:00, Monday-Friday
  • 50 weeks per year (Not term time)

You must have solid experience. You will assist the Room Leader in leading and nurturing a friendly team, as well as role modelling high quality childcare. To be considered for this role you must have:

  • Relevant early years qualifications in accordance with the current OFSTED guidelines, a minimum of Level 3 equivalent 
  • Ideally you must live within a 40-minute commutable distance 
  • Experience of Leading a team in an early years’ environment and managing a key group of children 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to work as part of a team and confident at leading
  • Empathetic, caring, and friendly
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills
