A special cheque presentation was held at BLS Barnet, attended by distinguished guest, The Worshipful the Mayor of the London Borough of Barnet, Councillor Zahra Beg (Madam Mayor), alongside Polly Debnam, Community and Regional Fundraising Manager at Barnardo’s, to celebrate our nurseries’ incredible fundraising through this year’s Big Toddle in support of Barnardo’s.
Bright Little Stars Nurseries raised £4,792 for Barnardo’s, with children, families, and staff coming together across our settings for a sponsored walk full of fun, energy and community spirit.
Madam Mayor said, “I am delighted to congratulate everyone at Bright Little Stars Nursery on this remarkable achievement. Raising £4,792 this year and an incredible £66,126 in total for Barnardo’s is a testament to the generosity, community spirit, and compassion of the children, families, and staff. Your support is helping to make a real difference to vulnerable children across the UK, and Barnet is immensely proud of your contribution.”
