On Friday 6th November, we were delighted to hold the ribbon-cutting ceremony at Bright Little Stars Hornsey, our newest nursery. The ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Haringey, Councillor Dawn Barnes and Melanie Windall from Haringey Local Authority.
The Mayor joined our CEO Amol Devani, Operations Director Mandy Guttadauro, Area Director Kelly Dunn, Nursery Manager Erza Syla and the Hornsey team at Beeley House, 4 Mary Neuner Road. Together they marked a proud moment ahead of the nursery welcoming its first children very soon.
Our special guests had a first look inside our brand-new, purpose-built nursery. They explored our learning rooms and outdoor spaces, which are filled with brand-new resources to spark curiosity, build confidence and help every child thrive.
A safe, inspiring place to thrive
Hornsey is the seventh nursery in the Bright Little Stars family, joining Barnet, Harrow, Mill Hill, Stanmore, Stratford and Watford. It brings 13 years of high-quality early years education to families on the border of Hornsey and Wood Green.
We built the nursery around one simple belief: every child deserves a place where they feel safe, loved and free to be curious. Bright, welcoming learning rooms are complemented by dedicated outdoor play areas. Every space is filled with brand-new resources chosen to spark imagination, build confidence and support each stage of early development.
Amol Devani, CEO of Bright Little Stars, said:
“Celebrating the opening of Bright Little Stars Hornsey is a proud moment for all of us. We’re absolutely thrilled to care for families in Hornsey and Wood Green. We were honoured to have the Mayor join us to mark the occasion, and we become part of this community.”
Councillor Dawn Barnes, Mayor of Haringey, said:
“I was really pleased to visit Bright Little Stars Hornsey, a new nursery at the heart of the Haringey Heartlands development. It has lovely facilities, and it’s a welcome addition to the area for the many families living nearby.”
