The prices of nurseries in London vary anywhere between £20-£70 per day depending on the nursery facilities, time of care and quality of staff. The government is setting up a new tax-free childcare scheme due to start in 2015.
The governments new tax-free childcare scheme will cover 20 per cent of working families’ childcare costs up to a limit of £6,000. Amounting to £1,200 per child each year.
The scheme will replace the old childcare voucher system operated through employers. The old scheme will remain open for existing users but closed to new entrants.
Initially, the new scheme will automatically include all families with children under five and by 2020 it will be rolled out to include all children under 12.
Parents will register with a voucher provider and open an online account. The government will then ‘top up’ payments into this account at a rate of 20p for every 80p that families pay in, subject to the above limit.
We encourage all our parents and carers to come in for a viewing before registering with us. This will give you a chance to look around the nursery, meet the team and answer any questions that you have. We will be delighted to show you around the Nursery near North West London or send you our prospectus and registration paperwork.
