We are delighted to share some brilliant news about Bright Little Stars Stanmore’s latest Ofsted inspection, which took place on 3 June 2026.
Ofsted now inspects early years settings under a new framework, introduced in November 2025. Inspectors assess seven individual areas of practice, including safeguarding, and grade each one as Exceptional, Strong standard, Expected standard, Needs attention or Urgent improvement.
We are proud to share that Bright Little Stars Stanmore achieved:
- Safeguarding: Met
- Strong standard in three areas: Behaviour, attitudes and establishing routines; Children’s welfare and wellbeing; Inclusion
- Expected standard in three areas: Achievement; Curriculum and teaching; Leadership and governance
This is a wonderful outcome: every single area met Ofsted’s standards, with three shining out as particular strengths of our setting.
Inspectors noted that our children “behave very well and show consistently positive attitudes to learning”
On wellbeing, the report found that “children feel safe, secure and valued in a calm, caring environment”
and highlighted that our team “place inclusion at the centre of their practice”
The report also praised our curriculum and our staff’s strong partnerships with families, and gave us clear, encouraging next steps so we can keep building on this already strong foundation.
